Hi. I see that you go to Ringling and I've been thinking about applying for that school. If you don't mind, can you tell me anything you know about the game design program and the "ghetto" area around Ringling. Thanks!
It's a great school and I'm really glad you're considering it! Since I'm an Illustration major I don't know too much about Game Art and Design but I have several friends in that major so if you have any specific questions I can ask them. As far as the area around to school is concerned it's not really the best area of town but as long as you don't flaunt valuables, travel with people at night, and lock your doors you should be find. Any incident I've heard of having occurred on or around campus involved one of those three things. Don't let that deter you as most college kids I know have similar issues around their campuses as well.
